About our concrete contractor company in Mobile
We're a concrete contractor based in Mobile, and we put most of our care into the ground under the slab and where the water goes.

How I came to concrete in Mobile
I learned concrete under an old-school boss who'd make you tear out a form and set it again if it was off. He didn't have much patience for questions, but his standards stuck with me. When I started Quickset Mobile Concrete Company as a concrete contractor in Mobile in 2013, I kept those standards and added the part he skipped, which is explaining why.
We're known for flatwork, the driveways, patios, sidewalks and slabs that sit flat on the ground, and for foundations done right underneath, where nobody looks. Our calls come from homeowners, builders and small business owners across Mobile County, over the bay in Baldwin County and across the line in Mississippi. You'll find everything we pour on our home page, and if your city isn't listed, call and ask.
When we pour, our crew of finishers and form setters does the work, and I'm on site running it, so the standards I learned get checked at every form. If your driveway, patio or slab is cracking, sinking or holding water and you'd like me to look at it, start on our contact page.
Helping you judge any concrete bid
I want every customer to understand their own job well enough to judge any bid, ours included. On a concrete job, the parts that decide how a slab holds up are buried by the end of day one, so I'd rather walk you through them before the pour than have you find out later.
How we work on your concrete job
A concrete job takes over part of your yard for a while, so we tell you what's happening at each step and leave the place clean when we're done.
The reason for every step
I'll tell you why we cut control joints, the grooves that tell a slab where to crack, and why you stay off it while it cures and gains strength.
Straight answers on cost
If something costs more, I tell you why. When the budget gets tight, I'd trim the finish before I'd trim the base, because a nice surface won't save a slab that settles.
Your call comes to me
I return calls myself, so the person you talk to on the phone is the same one who looked at your job and wrote your estimate.
A clean site at the end
We haul off any old concrete we tear out and the leftover form boards when we finish, so you get your driveway or patio back without a pile to deal with.
What sets Quickset Mobile Concrete apart
When you hire us, you can count on me seeing your job first, a written estimate you can check against other bids, and a crew that doesn't hurry the ground prep.
I see your job first
I look at your slab and the ground around it, then explain what it needs and why before you sign anything.

Our written estimate lists prep, removal and hauling, and what isn't included, so you can weigh it fairly against other bids.
Time on the hidden work
We dig out and pack the base and set the slope so water runs away from your house.

We find out which city or county office covers your address and handle the permit paperwork when your job needs one.

We're fully licensed and insured, and the promise we make on every job is satisfaction guaranteed.
